I received my first Kindle in 2009, as a gift, and four years later, I'm still using it. I never travel without it.

Nothing can replace an actual book, but when reading a 1000 page saga, it's so much easier on an e-reader. Plus, you can adjust the font size and look up definitions. You can load your book purchase on several Kindle readers, and your purchase always remains in your Amazon Kindle account.

I won a Kindle Fire last year. I love getting into bed and watching Netflix instant streaming on it. Oh yeah, read on it too - but for just straight reading, I prefer the regular Kindle. I gave my daughter the Paper White verson and she loves it.
